after paying with a credit card. com must be in my passport and MasterCard, by fax, is normal.?
I have a paying with a MasterCard prepaid card website gave me the following message: Thank you for your order. For security, your credit card the balance will be updated in your account within one days work. Please fax a copy of your credit card and a copy of your passport. Thank you in advance. Fax: + Is this normal procedure? seems to be the identity theft to me or am I wrong?
I'm sorry but it's really a fraud. You can be roughly what you pay is certainly not sent. As it is a prepaid MasterCard Your credit report is secure. However, you must file a complaint with MasterCard and inconsistent charges. In addition, the site Report phishing with Google: http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/ This will mark the site for future visitors. Most Web browsers like Internet Explorer and Firefox Google will give for leaving the site to ascertain whether this is a phishing site. I am not sure how much information personal that you have given to the purchase, but if you think you are a victim of identity theft, you may want to file a complaint with the FTC in the matter 1-877-ID-THEFT. Hope this helps.

Credit Scores, Credit Cards $16.48 How to make sure your credit history, financial data, account information and other essentials are strong and safe! In 2001, the average North American consumer spent nearly $40,000 on credit cards. By 2005, this average person will carry over $50,000 in consumer debt - not counting mortgages or car loans! This unsecured consumer debt is fundamentally changing the way Americans live: * the tradition of a home owned free and clear has become unusual as people borrow against their homes and refinance repeatedly to pay for discretionary spending * financing vacations, electronics and dining out with multiple credit cards is commonplace At the same time, credit scores have become the golden keys to successful borrowing. But what does it all mean? How do you know you're managing your credit wisely? In a credit-based economy, your credit score means as much to you as money in the bank meant to your grandparents --and here's how to protect it! |

Vb Com $3.48 COM has traditionally been considered as something that VB programmers don't need to think about too much: VB is supposed to look after all the nitty gritty of COM, leaving the VB programmers to rapidly develop working business solutions. However, with Microsoft pushing hard on its multi-tiered technologies, more and more people are becoming aware that COM is something important. For any moderately advanced VB programming at all, COM is present - often under the guise of ActiveX. COM underlies most of which is going on in VB. COM is components and objects: and there are hundreds of objects and components even in the basic VB environment. So what's going on? What is COM? Why is it so important? What can VB programmers do with COM? Foe newcomers to COM, this is all a bit mysterious. For competent but relatively non-technical VB professional programmers, the full story of COM is still somewhat disjointed. Meanwhile, a new type of programming consultant is coming into existence: COM design experts. Why? Because as soon as you start writing professional VB applications, you are making COM decisions (or VB is making them for you), whether it is with ActiveX, MTS, DCOM.. and some of these decisions have real implications for the success of your software design and performance. |

Credit Rating $77.48 The international capital standard for credit institutions (Basel II) allows banks to use internal rating systems in order to determine the risk weights that are relevant for the calculation of capital charge. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a system that enfolds the main practices and methods existing in the context of credit rating. The aim of this work is to give a suggestion of setting up a credit rating system, where the main techniques used in practice are analyzed, presenting some alternatives and considering the problems that can arise from a statistical point of view. Finally, we will set up some guidelines on how to accomplish the challenge of credit scoring. The judgment of the quality of a credit with respect to the probability of default is called credit rating. A method based on a multi-dimensional criterion seems to be natural, due to the numerous effects that can influence this rating. However, owing to governmental rules, the tendency is that typically one-dimensional criteria will be required in the future as a measure of the credit worthiness or the quality of a credit. |

Securitization of Credit $290.98 The first guide to this new financial trend. Credit securitization (also known as asset securitization) is a financial technology for packaging, underwriting, and selling loans in the form of securities. First used in packaging mortgage loans (as in the case of GNMA and other federally insured mortgage-backed securities), credit securitization has grown rapidly and spread to other forms of credit, including auto loans, student loans, credit-card balances, and so on. This book provides lenders and other financial professionals with clear analyses of many actual credit securitization deals. Includes much information unavailable elsewhere. |

Credit Risk $102.98 The main objective of Credit Risk: Modeling, Valuation and Hedging is to present a comprehensive survey of the past developments in the area of credit risk research, as well as to put forth the most recent advancements in this field. An important aspect of this text is that it attempts to bridge the gap between the mathematical theory of credit risk and the financial practice, which serves as the motivation for the mathematical modeling studied in the book. Mathematical developments are presented in a thorough manner and cover the structural (value-of-the-firm) and the reduced (intensity-based) approaches to credit risk modeling, applied both to single and to multiple defaults. In particular, the book offers a detailed study of various arbitrage-free models of defaultable term structures with several rating grades. |

Women and Credit $3.48 Credit can be instrumental in equalizing opportunity and alleviating poverty, yet historically men and women have not had the same access. Partly because of this, women have been excluded from many previous economic histories. This book fills a significant gap in exploring the vexed relationship between the women and credit across time and space.Providing examples of credit agencies and initiatives in both the developing and developed world, Women and Credit raises important policy issues and makes valuable suggestions for reconfiguring the relationship between women and credit. It also answers questions previously ignored by scholars, yet of vital significance to women's studies and economic history. What contribution did women make to the development of industrial capitalism? How does women's access to credit vary across time and cultures? How has the development of mico-credit initiatives affected women's economic position and what role will such initiatives play in the future? This book is an invaluable resource for anyone in the fields of Women's studies, economic history, anthropology or development |

A Culture of Credit $46.98 In the growing and dynamic economy of nineteenth-century America, businesses sold vast quantities of goods to one another, mostly on credit. This book explains how business people solved the problem of whom to trust--how they determined who was deserving of credit, and for how much. In the process, a business system based largely on information circulating through personal networks became dependent on more formalized methods and institutions. First to appear in the 1830s was the credit reporting agency, whose pioneers included the abolitionist Lewis Tappan, and businessmen John Bradstreet and Robert G. Dun (whose firms merged in 1933 to form Dun & Bradstreet). Later, groups of business creditors formed interchanges and bureaus to share information on their customers' payment records. In 1896, the National Association of Credit Men was established, and by 1920, credit men had established both a national credit information clearinghouse and a bureau for American exporters. These developments forced American businesses, large and small, to make their financial situations more transparent to creditors and credit reporting firms. Rowena Olegario traces the way resistance, mutual suspicion, skepticism, and legal challenges were overcome in the relentless quest to make information on business borrowers more accurate and available. |

Essential COM (DevelopMentor Series) $8.48 Written by a leading COM authority, this unique book reveals the essence of COM, helping developers to truly understand the why, not just the how, of COM. COM and .NET Interoperability $41.48 COM and .NET Interoperability provides a complete overview of the process of building .NET applications that interact (interoperate) with existing COM code. Before digging into that critical topic, author Andrew Troelsen offers a concise overview of the COM architecture and provides examples using various COM frameworks (C++, ATL, and VB 6.0) as well as the core .NET managed languages (C# and VB .NET). After covering the preliminaries, the book explores numerous issues that arise in interoperability, including interacting with the Win32 API, dynamically generating source code via System.CodeDOM, creating serviced (COM+) components using managed code, manually editing (and recompiling) .NET metadata, and the process of constructing custom COM/.NET conversion utilities. Both intermediate and advanced developers will welcome the practical information they need to quickly work with COM and COM+ in .NET applications, and learn how to create .NET components that are COM compatible. |

COM Programming with Microsoft .NET $11.48 The Microsoft .NET Framework is here, but COM will be a valuable part of the Windows programmer's armory of technologies for years to come. This book explains how and where COM fits into the new .NET world. It also demonstrates the new technologies that are available in .NET, and it shows how to interoperate between COM and .NET. It's essentially a "one-stop shopping" resource for COM programmers who want to work with .NET. The authors use both theoretical and practical approaches-explaining how the mechanisms work and also providing practical advice plus code to show how to approach interoperability in practice. By the end of this book, readers will understand topics such as the place of COM in the .NET world, what's new in .NET for COM programmers, how to use Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET to write "traditional" COM objects, how to use COM objects in .NET code, and how to use .NET objects as COM objects. |
