Have anyone heard or know anything about a graphic card called Intel Extreme Graphics 2?
In comparison with NVIDEA's GeForce series and ATi's RADEON series, is IEG2 any better? Is it available for sale at hardware stores? If so, how much is the price?

Intel graphic cards usually come integrated with a motherboard. So if you do not need a new motherboard or CPU, then you cannot use it. Your only alternative will be buying a separate video card. However please consult your motherboard manual on the type of graphic card that it can support. Some motherboard that has embedded graphic card does not have an extra AGP slot for added graphic cards.
If you are planning to buy a new computer, then it comes down to what do you use your computer primarily for.
If you want to use your computer more for game or CAD application (for architects), then usually it is best to purchase a separate graphic cards, since they have a much better performance, since they have their own memory, which means that the graphics will not 'steal' memory from the CPU system's memory, which means better performance for your computer as well. Also if your video card faulty, you do not have to change the whole motherboard. The only downside is it will cost you more to purchase. NVIDIA and ATi are two of the best graphic card chipset manufacturers. You might find out that the brand of the graphic card that the chipset embedded to will be different (could be Gigabyte or Asus etc). Please check with your supplier of the type of graphic card that your motherboard can support.
If you use your computer for mainly word processing or internet, then purchasing an all-in-one motherboard will be the best option, since it is much cheaper and performance will be quite OK. The only downside is that if there's a fault with the video card, you will then have to replace the motherboard; and with Windows XP operating system, things can go a bit difficult.

Extreme $15.98 The movie is an IMAX production dealing with "extreme" sports -- you know, skiing down Himalayan mountain slopes, surfing 50-foot waves, free-climbing frozen waterfalls, that sort of thing. And the artists on the soundtrack album include some fairly big names in beat music (Brand New Heavies, Morcheeba, Better Daze, Afro Celt Sound System, etc.). So the average listener might be forgiven for expecting a certain intensity level of this music. On first listen, then, the average listener might be a little bit disappointed; the Brand New Heavies deliver nice but thoroughly ordinary R&B on "Dream on Dreamer," Morcheeba's "The Sea" still has that vaguely creepy illbient vibe, but feels more ambient than anything else, and drum'n'bass mavens Better Daze get explicitly ambient on "Golden Brown (Fila Brazilia Remix)." But then the average listener should remember that this is a soundtrack album; the music isn't supposed to be drawing attention to itself.
